“I think we had better not move out from here again, until it has gone quite dark.”

Rúmil raised an eyebrow as Orophin uttered the statement. They were both naked and huddled in the bushes by the bathing pool. They had planned to surprise Haldir when he came by – however they had been the ones surprised when, instead of their brother, Lord Celeborn had arrived with Lord Elrond and King Thranduil, who were visiting the realm.

The three had settled into the water and continued talking business, while the two naked Galadhel could only watch and wait for them to leave. Both felt their limbs going stiff as they continued to crouch there and Rúmil was sure the bush was deliberately putting its leaves in places leaves had no business being.

At long last the Elven Lords rose and got out of the pool, drying themselves off and dressing again. The two in the bushes were deeply grateful, as well as appreciative of the view. Had they been able to see all that these past hours, they might not have seemed so long!

Stifling a sigh of relief, they watched as the others finally started to walk away. Finally, they could move again. Orophin started to smile, but it died on his lips as Celeborn walked passed.

“You can come out now, boys,” their Lord said, and couldn’t resist a chuckle as he heard the pained groans coming from the two highly embarrassed Elves.
