Title:
Covered Up
Author: Tuxedo Elf
Rating: PG
Word Count: 261
Prompt: 52 - Alternate - I was awake early
this morning, and now it must be nearly noon.
Summary: Thranduil is having a problem with
his lover.
Notes: I was bored. This is silly.
“No.”
“No?”
“No.”
“I
see.” Thranduil perched on the edge of the bed, looking
at the lump beneath the blankets and considered his options.
“So, do you simply plan to stay there forever?”
“Aye.”
The
King of Mirkwood put his head in his hands. “That is
slightly impractical, you know.”
“I
do not care.”
“There
are all sorts of things you will miss out on,” he cajoled.
“I
can not think of a single thing.”
The
muffled responses were most unhelpful and the King was running
out of ideas. He loved this Elf, however he was starting to
find out a few of the problems associated with a long-distance
relationship, such as leaving day.
“It
will work out. We will see each other again in a few months.
It is not so bad.”
“Yes
it is.”
“Very
well, it is. I agree. Yet this does not make it anymore unavoidable.”
Thranduil was starting to wonder if their whole last day was
going to be spent in this manner. “This is getting rather
silly. I was awake early this morning, and now it must be
nearly noon. I have not even seen your face in all that time!”
He
received no response from this statement and so poked the
blankets lightly. “Do not make me come in there after
you!”
The
blankets moved, lifted and a moment later Rúmil appeared
from beneath them, his hair rumpled and a cheeky grin on his
face as he stretched lazily.
“Perhaps
that is what I want.”
Thranduil
had only one response to that.
He
pounced.
